How MediateMe Works: The process explained from sign-up to resolution.
Create an Account
Creating a MediateMe account is free and takes just seconds. Simply fill out a few details and you will be on your way to a cost-effective resolution to your dispute.
Start the resolution process by entering a few details about your dispute. The responding party will receive an email inviting them to MediateMe and explaining the mediation process.
The status of your mediation will be displayed on your MediateMe dashboard, and you will be alerted when you must take an action with a pending mediation.
Browse and sort mediators by expertise, hourly rate, rating, and availability to find the right mediator for you. Each mediator is rated on professionalism, creativity, fairness, and satisfaction by other MediateMe users, ensuring you find the perfect mediator for your specific dispute.
Both you and the responding party can suggest mediators and mediation times until both parties are satisfied. For fee-based mediations, you may choose to pay the mediation cost yourself, suggest the second party pay, or split the cost 50/50.
When it's time for your mediation to begin, all parties will be able to enter the mediation room. The technology used to help facilitate a mediated resolution includes video and audio chat, text chat, and teleconference capabilities.
If your mediator charges a fee, you will first be asked to enter your credit card information. Don't worry, you will only be charged while all parties are participating in the mediation.
